Curtis Ho, MArch, BA
Computational Design Architect
Curtis is an Architectural Designer at Trax, contributing to the development of digital tools that bridge design, technology, and code compliance in the AEC industry. Prior to joining Trax, Curtis co-founded Sokkit Studio, an independent architectural drafting and design practice, where he led community-based projects ranging from residential renovations to commercial interiors. He also worked on built installations such as the award-winning Steam Canoe pavilion for Toronto’s Winter Stations.
Curtis brings academic and professional experience at the intersection of architecture, computation, and design research. He received his Master of Architecture in 2019 from the University of Toronto, where he specialized in computational design and parametric modeling. During this time, he served as a Teaching Assistant in Visual Communication and Parametric Design, helping students apply tools such as Rhino and Grasshopper for simulations and performance-driven design. He also contributed to research in urban design and architecture, developing mapping, modeling, and scripting techniques to accelerate design processes.
Curtis also holds a Bachelor of Design from OCAD University, where his work earned multiple awards, including the OCADU 100th Annual GradEx Medal and the Joan Burt Architect Award. His training and experience enable him to merge creative design with technical rigor, helping Trax craft innovative, code-informed solutions for the built environment
