Hali Larsen, MArch, BScEng

Head of Product

Hali is Head of Product at Trax, where she works alongside municipal reviewers and industry teams to alleviate the everyday friction of the permit process with practical tools. She leads product strategy and customer research, helping people find, understand, and apply building requirements with confidence. The goal is smoother projects, faster permit cycles, and better-performing buildings in Canada's ever-changing regulatory environment.

Hali's career has touched most phases of the AECO lifecycle, and she has seen how the best project outcomes depend on good decisions, collaborative teams and clear intentions from the outset. After consulting on sustainability strategy and circularity with 3XN Architects in Copenhagen, she spent 10 years at Autodesk, first managing research projects in generative design practice, data visualization, and BIM-based data platforms for building operations. She then brought that work into product as Senior Product Manager for Autodesk Tandem, where she worked closely with customers to define the roadmap and data foundation for its building operations platform.

Hali received a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical and Materials Science) from Queen's University in 2008 and a Master of Architecture from the University of Toronto in 2015. She believes Trax's mission of bringing relevant, contextual insight into design and delivery will help Canada's construction industry build better and faster.
