Matt is an Associate Principal and the Buildings Toronto Lead for Arup. Matt has been involved in the design of some of Ontario’s most iconic spaces including acting as structural designer for the renovations to the Royal Ontario Museum, the central Waterfront’s wavedecks and recent work leading Arup’s engineering at the Center for Innovation and Creativity at the Stratford Festival, the new Ottawa Central Library and Canada’s Canoe Museum in Peterborough. On every project, Matt seeks to bring innovative approaches and to collaborate with the design team to realize the client’s vision. Outside of project work, Matt seeks collaborative opportunities for his team, working with industry and academia to increase the impact of engineering across society.
