ALL IN 2026 Top 100 AI Startups
Trax was selected as one of Canada’s Top 100 AI Startups by ALL IN, recognizing Canadian companies building AI solutions with strong potential for real-world adoption and impact. Trax will exhibit at the ALL IN 2026 conference in Montréal from September 16-17.

FedDev Regional Artificial Intelligence Initiative (RAII)
Trax was selected as one of 13 GTA companies and organizations receiving federal support, under the Regional Artificial Intelligence Initiative (RAII), to advance AI innovation, with funding toward AI-assisted compliance checks for building permit approvals.

DMZ Centre for Housing Innovation Accelerator
Trax was selected for Cohort 2 of DMZ’s Centre for Housing Innovation Accelerator, one of seven companies chosen from 100+ applications to scale housing innovation solutions across Canada.

DIGITAL National AI Training Project
Trax led a national project funded by DIGITAL and the Pan-Canada AI Strategy to train 1,200+ municipal building, fire, and planning officials on AI-assisted workflows for enhancing permit review capacity.

The development of Trax Checkmate is supported by the Government of Canada funding through the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario (FedDev Ontario). As one of 13 organizations selected for funding in 2026, Trax is leveraging this investment to accelerate the development and commercialization of advanced AI solutions that improve regulatory compliance checking and enhance productivity across the building sector. This support is helping bring made-in-Canada AI innovation to market while strengthening the digital transformation of communities across the country.
